Field Survey or Energy Audit

Many projects require a Field Survey or Energy Audit. Normally, this will take place after a review of the facility energy bills.  This is because the bills could reveal energy use patterns that suggest areas to focus on during the site visit.

During the site visit, we always look first for ways to improve existing system operations. New technology may also be considered, but only when necessary and appropriate. Often, efficiency can be improved by optimizing existing systems. Many of our clients have seen energy expense reductions of over 10% without any capital cost.

Following the field work, we will analyze the data collected at the site along with billing data and any other information concerning the facility and its operation.  Based on this analysis, we will prepare specific recommendations including project descriptions, preliminary cost and savings estimates, and a payback analysis.
